Solar Powered Air Conditioning Is Definitely A Viable Option

After doing a little research, I found out solar powered air conditioning is definitely worth looking into.

Okay, I Must Admit It - After Doing A Little Research, The Solar Powered Air Conditioning Sounds Like A Viable Option For Me

Once I became educated on how it works and how much it reduces pollution, I feel so wasteful for using an electric air-conditioner all these years.

  • The statistics are very convincing.

  • The solar-powered air conditioner cools 3,000 sq.ft.for just 600 watts of energy; the electric versions cool the same area for a whopping 6,000 watts.

Each Month, My Electricity Bill Is Controlled By How Much I Use My Electric Air Conditioner

At my home, the electric air-conditioner alone is what determines if it will be an expensive or affordable month on my energy bill.
There is a sharp penalty every time I change the air-conditioner settings to accommodate the weather outside.

Here's What I Found Out About The Solar Powered Air Conditioning

The solar-powered air-conditioner does it all for the owner.

  • When it’s hot outside, it will automatically pump cold air at 60° F.

  • The unit will naturally adjust to less usage when the clouds are out.

With Solar Air Conditioners You Can Even Control The Temperature If You Need To

If you must change the controls, there is even a computerized system that the owner can attach.

I Also Found It Interesting That The Solar-Powered Unit Has Multiple Ways Of Being “green.”

It’s powered by solar energy, but also uses water in the cooling process.

  • Even the excess water is directed across the solar panels to improve energy-absorption.

  • Everything is reused.

I Was Concerned About If The Solar-Energy Unit Could Be Installed In My Home And If The Unit Was Affordable, But These Fears Were Quickly Dispelled.

  • The solar-energy unit can be installed practically anywhere.

  • It can be conveniently placed in an attic for residences, or even be affixed on a frame for flat-roofed businesses.

There Are A Few Limitations Though...

  • The residence owner would have to agree with fashioning a grated hole into a wall for the outside air intake.

  • The business owner would have to sacrifice a small amount of roof space.

  • However, both of these really aren’t deal-breakers.

My Conclusion: Solar Powered Air Conditioning Is Definitely A Feasible Option For Me

The solar-powered unit can be costly to install, especially if there isn’t already a space for air intake.

However, the initial cost would be worth the years of a virtually non-existent energy bill and knowing that I am reducing the over-exploitation of the environment.

I would gain peace in knowing I’m taking responsibility for the future in a way that benefits me today.
